Listen closely.... Is it just me or does this bike sound like it has a turbo or super charger? Maybe it's just me but that sounds extremly non-stock

@gsxrjez The only thing non-stock about the engine at that time was that it had an Akrapovic end can (not even a full system). The bike is still normally aspirated.

I'm just curious, were you able to do that stock? I've got an 1100 Rex myself and have been track curious.

Hi, good luck with that REX (I have an 03 version myself) but be careful on the Tail of the Dragon...a bunch of overzealous squids have hyped up the law enforcement patrols in the are.Watch your speed.

I have a 2001 ZRX and I love it. When I bought it this august it only had 5500 miles on it and in mint shape but in the month I've owned it I've put over 1000 miles on it. The bike feels like it was built just for me. There is a place in Tennessee in the States called the Dragons Tail that has 318 curves in 11 miles I want to ride this bike on it next season I hope

@gsxrjez I think you are hearing the disc brakes on deceleration GSXrjez .... other than that ..... I lurrrve the Rexy sound . ... Got one myself ;-)

@RichardHMorris I thought so, what a potent bike the Rex really is. I've known it from riding one but watching it go head to head with these windemups, it really drives it home.
