@Vatoway3 what is the worst thing to be....being boring or being the bastard that comes on this page and insult someone who is doing something as cool as this...how old are you ? 10 ? 11 maybe...go back and play with your GI Joe's little boy okay...this is for adults here.

What type of paper do you use? The one's I have have a line on the back and you don't peel them away. Also the white never transfers.
-
What is the name of that paper you put over the transfer? and where can I buy it?
-
i know what im making everyone for christmas!

very cool! I've been looking for something like this... gotta try again b/c I think I bought cheap paper or got the iron too hot. I'm gonna order some Epson paper and try again - cross my fingers b/c I LOVE this!
This is, quite possibly, the coolest and easiest technique I've ever seen!
Wicked.
*So* going to try this after all my other commissions are done. :P

also, if you wanted to transfer ink straight to the wood without transfer paper for t-shirts you could use a print from a lazer printer or copier and place it face down and rub acetone on the back of it ... it will result in a more painterly effect as it gets sucked into/onto the wood and/or paint on the surface. The effects aren't as permanent until sprayed with a fixative or varnish/spraypaint.

i found that injet printers with transfer material need to be spray varnished not brush varnished since most varnishes will pull the ink out of the cured transfer resulting in a rather streaky or blotted image (sort of like getting an inkjet print wet)
