This huge Gaur bull weighing more than a ton, had apparently slipped and fallen head first into a narrow trench dug by the local telephone company to lay cables. The soft earth made it sink deep and the poor beast died in the pit. A JCB had to be used to 'excavate' the carcass. Criminal negligence!!
