jesus christ can't anybody listen to an old recording on youtube these days without lamenting on how he/she was born too late? this is here and now lol. pick out the good stuff and make the best of it. by the way, this woman had the sexiest vocals of all time. ella fitz, sara vaughan, she leaves em all in the dust... nobody comes close.

My parents were born 1922-3, and yes, they're very sensible. They don't challenge/question much, especially when it's coming from priests or doctors or the nightly news..., but most of their generation are all very sensible with money; they all write beautifully (in terms of grammar, vocabulary & penmanship); they're generally better mannered and they definitely grew up with the best popular music: jazz, showtunes, swing, lounge, etc.... Just my opinion, of course!
