@damiano455 ive been wanting to build me a 455 small block can you give me some specs on yours

thanks again for the quick reply and thanks for all of the help! currently i have it planned around a C&S carb for future possability of running methanol. EFI and methanol can be a big mess with having to double up on the injectors so you can tell i am glad to hear the carbs tend to better number figures, as that is how i have it planned. thanks again, take care of yourself.

a few more questions if you dont mind, sorry to be bothering you - but what fuel is being used on the take 1/take 2 dyno sessions? thanks again!

NP, I am using Sunoco (RED) 116. I am sure there are better fuels which would have made more power but I choose 116 for the availaility at the track and the "cheap" cost compared to others.

thanks! great engine build, im planning a 450 sbc using 9* heads. whats your opinion on EFI big cubic engines vs carbed big cubic engines if you dont mind me asking?

Thats a sore subject right now but here are the facts. We did a back to back DFI (Gen 6) EFI to 1150 race carb comparison and the carb won the horsepower war by alot. If you going for street driveability then EFI is the way to go. If you doing heads up racing and power is key than the carb wins on paper. Good luck with the project!
