Freshly Erected TIPIs Handle Ferocious Storms

Footage of how the humble Tipi withstands strong winds and pounding hail. The first half of this clip is the rising of the tipi, whilst the second half is storm footage. My camera computer screen was broken during this storm and now in its lame condition it is challenging to use. I'll fix it when I can and btw. my 12 year old companion is ok about sharing this intense sounding storm footage.

Over 11,300 lightning strikes were recorded, and many homes in the closest city Brisbane, lost electricity. Much damage ensued from the hail.

These storms are entirely odd for this region and appear to many speculators as being manufactured or orchestrated.

We do expect intense thunder storms in the summer season. But hail? At this time of the year? The very nature of the storm was also far from typical. The way it hit suddenly out of nowhere and then was over within minutes with blue skies left many scratching their heads.

You are too kind! Thank you very much unpuffy princess. That hail was amazing. Because I don't watch the news I've only just heard how much this has effected our farmers. Apparently all the stone fruit and blueberries have been wiped out. Soooo saaaaad for the farmers. Hugs to you rawsome! xoxoxo

Geez! It doesn't surprise me considering how much that hail ripped through many of the large leafed tropical plants here. It really did cause alot of damage. Love to all the farmers and hugs to you too, love your unpuffy non-puffer fish bliss fish! *hehe, feeling better by the day ~ that tick tocked my right temple and did such a number on me! I am embracing it all for the initiation usher it is.....eternally thankful for the awesome sight of all this that I AM! huge hugs sis! OXOXOXO :)

AHO Sister Raw I ! yes I got your message. thank you for all the information and thank You to Murray too ;). I contacted the bamboo farm..only thing is they want 48.00US for each pole. Very spendy. Don't have the 800.00+ just for the poles. SO still searching.. Grandfather will lead me to the

temple poles.

Aloha Sister Rayvin! Yes, I feel appreciative and happy to see this tipi erected! It was 'rescued' from certain doom! It was in a dump bin and Murray pulled it out to use it as further protection, from rain, for some timber whilst working on a building site! He realized that it was in salvagable and useable condition. Upon asking him one day if he knew of anyone selling Tipi's, he said he had one that I could have!!! In deep appreciation I gave him a very large, brand new heavy duty tarp :)
