My cover/remake/remix of the first level of Konami's classic SNES shmup "Axelay". I really love this game, It is sad the planned sequel never happened because the developers left Konami to form Treasure. Who knows, Treasure did make "Gradius V" for Konami, maybe someone will remember "Axelay" and make an update. Also, it's sad to see this game still not available on the European Wii Virtual Console.

@bonggzilla Thanks. Yep, the lead is a fat trance lead sound, but I wanted to keep it faithful to the (brilliant) original. I got tons of stuff on my website, make sure to check it out. =)

@Madsy9 I started back in 1990 on Trackers for the Amiga. Don't worry, it's a fun ride. Make sure you get yourself familiar with FL Studio, the Demo is fully working and even allows you to export your stuff, just not save the file. There are tons of tutorials online on how to use it.

@ShiryuGL Yeah, I suck at mixing too. I'm still new to this whole sequencer-stuff, though. I still use Impulse Tracker and Fasttracker II.

Love the game. The remix would be better without the excess use of reverb, though.
