The medical world today has a growing focus on the importance of the need for a thorough pre-treatment of medical instruments before the sterilization process.

There are several difficulties in cleaning the expensive and delicate medical equipment. Some of the big challenges are the difficult accessible surfaces and cavities and the fact that many of the instrument surfaces are sensible to the sometimes hardy manual procedures, to strong chemicals and to high temperatures.

The MedClean AVDU offers a unique, rapid and highly effective solution to this problem.

With the MedClean AVDU it is now possible to impact the inner wall in its entire length with vapour and airflow.
This new cleaning technique discharges cycles of vapour succeeded by airflow into the instrument lumen, through perforated probes closely fitted to the particular instrument.

This process flushes and cleans lumen in a quick and efficient manner, as any residue is released from the sides by steam and blown out of the channel by the airflow.
By repeating this cleaning cycle altering between discharging vapour and airflow- the channel is rapidly cleaned at a low temperature.

By the MedClean AVDU method, the inner surfaces of cavities and lumen in medical instruments can automatically and efficiently be cleaned after use and thereby prepared for the further treatment.
