Me mimicking Gilmour's solo of "Money" off the classic Dark Side of the Moon album. Equipment used: 60th Anniv. Diamond Stratocaster, Vox AC30Custom Classic 2x12 and a Digitech RP300A for delay tones thru the FX Loop of the amp. As well, a Digitech bad monkey was used to overdrive the amplifier. Cheers!

  • Very nice! Great playing and gear, btw, what do you think about the Bad Monkey?

  • I think its one of those little gem's that come around every once in a while.... mostly because of its price!! I think these things were like $39 USD... I'm a Canadian and a paid a bit more for mine when I got them, but they are great!!

    I actually bought two!

  • is there any way you could tell me the settings on your bad monkey?

  • I only use one setting: Sounds Good

hahahahah, no really...I do not remember what the exact settings were; they were dependent on the situation. What I might use in my bedroom might be totally different from a concert hall or club. I am pretty sure the drive was max and the bass and high knobs were to taste

  • Dude I love your tone and your interpretation the these guitar parts. What's your rig?

  • Check out my vid description!

  • Wow, nice sound for the Monkey. I got same amp ac30cc2 and 96 usa strat, looks like nice pedal.

  • muy pero muy bueno, tocas re bien loco, el solo suena perfecto y es tal cual, buenisimo loco.

  • Well done my friend. Not precisely correct, but nice played. 4 and a half star from me xD. Keep on rockin man!

  • I suspect this is an american strat with 22 frets...

  • Great!!

  • can you please tell me how you second half of the solo on a strat? Gilmour used a 24 fret Lewis because the strat only has 21 frets

  • 5 stars alone for that harmonic at the end!!!

  • great ;-)

  • very nice
