Et minde fra morfars 92 års fødselsdag.
Summary in English:
Vagn (Lis' husband) comes with some Danish pastry, coffee and birthday cake. Morfar makes positive noises. I say 'isn't it true that you'd like to get out and play some tennis' and he replies "one could possibly play some tennis"...Vagn comments that will-power can get you far. Mormor notices that the cushion fell on the ground with her otherwise very limited sight. Morfar and Vagn ponder on his high age and think about God's mercy and grace being new every morning = 92x365 is a great many days of grace. Vagn wants to sing a hymn before they tuck in... I hope morfar gets to conduct a little choir in heaven:) At the end of the hymn, morfor says "amen, amen yes ... are we going to have coffee?" (Sublime to the rediculous). ...banter about whether the cup is big enough and the coffee really is coffee. Lots of thanks and appreciation. Asks whether Lis will come. "Yes! - after work" ... Lis comes in...sings... morfor says "what a shame I can't get out and play some tennis". Lis mentions the trip she would take morfar on to see Poul playing tennis. "Just think you've come out here dad", says Poul. ...granddaughter shows wedding photo - wedding held in a garden. Morfar asks "Did the minister agree to that? Good, good" Sing another hymn...morfar gets emotional on the words about Jesus never leaving us. Ends by saying Thank you, thank you, thank you.
