Security expert JR Roberts consults with Savannah Mayor Otis Johnson to discuss crime problems that stem from low-income housing area environments. The story about the interview was broadcast on local channel WJCL an ABC affiliate in Savannah, GA.
Has anyone considered that slumlords might purposely rent to a drug dealer or two in order to take a cut? Slumlords, organized crime, prostitution and trafficking are all related.
Bullshit: The crimes in these projects are probably related to the toxic chemicals found in many public housing projects during this rush to demolish under HUD. Therefore, the real crimes were committed decades ago when they constructed the housing on toxic waste dumps like coal waste, incinerator waste, and wood treatment waste. All contain lead and hundreds of other chemicals that affect medical and mental health. The domestic problems found today are merely the symptoms of a toxic issue.
Hey, they're building that whole new low income housing project on West Bay Street now. Back where the old projects were but got dozed down. I went to a presentation where they described how their nice design and setup will keep the crime rate lower. I would like to see how that goes.
thank you for posting this video, it will help me on my crime prevention project for school :)
