This video is a tribute to both Carl Sagan and the Cosmos. I took various video and music clips from the Cosmos television series and mixed them together. I created this video to pay tribute to perhaps the greatest popularizer of science this world has ever known. Please let me know what you think; thank you.

  • Carl Sagan saved my life. I never got to meet the man, but that's alright, because I'm made of star stuff.. and so was he. Such a connection is more powerful than a one-time meet in some book store or on the street. Thank you, Mr. Sagan. :)

  • This man is an inspiration to everyone, his ability to grasp what is really going on here is outstanding. I take my hat off to him.

  • Thank you for this. Carl was, is, and always will be my hero...

  • RIP Carl Sagan! You are with the Cosmos forever more!

  • This man is beautiful.

  • I cried, I don't know why really... the way Carl is able to conceptualize our relevancy in the universe, and the idea of an optimism to 'know thyself' as a unified species, just made me cry like a baby. Long live the spirit of Carl Sagan.

  • I think that "Cosmos a Personal Voyage" should be shown in schools in science class. I can only imagine what good it would do to the students will to do science and learn about it. <3 Sagan

  • This man is my hero.

  • bravo, thanks!

  • Thank you Carl Sagan. You thought us to investigate and find answers to our big questions and respond with simple answers. You rock

  • this is my fav video on youtube :)

  • @AnonymousCthulhu I like thinking about the fact that we were all at one time packed into a space smaller than a proton, the particles that make up me, you, Carl, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, and every other grand mind, before it all "blew up" into the beautiful Cosmos that we have today. :)
