This reminds me of when i first met my husband. We would lie and listen to this beautiful masterpiece late at night.

As a semi-fan of the Motors, I had Tenement Steps way back when, but never really followed them. Never heard this before. Beautiful tune. I see I'm gonna have to investigate more Motors stuff. (USA)

Yes i agree one of the most beautiful songs ever writen in the 80's, the driving piano and the accoustic guitar and the strings at the end just incase The Motors lost your attention, set the sene for this song, and never lets up...this is what makes a great song, the whole song is one gigantic hook from beginning to end...can never get enough of this song, what a shame they don't make songs like this anymore...bought this as a 45 single and wore it out, i played it that much...

Ooooooh how I love this song - and imagine that I hadn't even heard it a year ago... Thanks for telling me about it, E! It allways makes me a little sad, but in a good way. Best part (I think, it's very hard to chose) is 1.29-1.54!

My Fave song from the Motors, underrated band, love playing this song in the middle of The Beatles "Yesterday" & Wings "Tomorrow" all songs are great and just as beautiful.

The strings at the end always remind me of Zepplin's Rain Song. Motors are much underrated band this is my favourite song by them - Gorgeous

I love the MOTORS..hadn't heard this song in such a long time..and stumbled across it when it came up during one of my shuffles on my 300 disc player..they were such a cool band..and have a classic to reflect it.

I can't believe that nobody has commented on one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Airport may have been the hit, but this was the best thing the Motors ever did.
