Those are NOT my words, but the words of Aradhna Tripati, a UCLA assistant professor in the department of Earth and space sciences and the department of atmospheric and oceanic sciences who is the lead author of this particular SCIENTIFIC study
"Carbon dioxide is a potent greenhouse gas, and geological observations that we now have for the last 20 million years lend strong support to the idea that carbon dioxide is an important agent for driving climate change"
Stable climates support lifeforms. When climates change too quickly, extinctions happen. That is a basic, well established scientific precept, and really what the climate change boils down to.
It has nothing to do with theology - the belief in the supernatural.
Your next statement is hilariously self-contradictory
"and you are wrong to think we are doing something (which we are also doing)"
thanks for another laugh - you guys really are entertaining

I also want you to know, I have toitally lost any respect I may have once had for you, despite difference of viewpoint.
You now are subscribing to methods of purposeful dissemination, disinformation, and disregard of scientific method.
Your supposed rules apply to you as well, or they apply to no one..
Again, nice try.
Ingassing only exactly matches outgassing in a purely static temperature situation. When temperature changes, the ratio changes.
Gets colder, ingassing actually increases over outgassing.
If the water heats, outgassing passes ingassing.
I did make that statement, then delineated specifically the partial time frame in question as 400 million years.
To quote you... READ my words... from me... do not quote me out of context.
Nice try.
Oceanic ingassing and outgassing are PART of the carbon cycle. They are THE carbon cycle.
And isn't THAT called the "carbon cycle"?

":If you look at the entire known history of the earth..."
Now, HOW LONG is The ENTIRE known history of earth -- billions of years or hundreds of millions.
lol at your sad effort to frabricate deception out of nothingness
