I see Gators here using the old standby damning by faint praise. They are good at that. Like the Bull Gators in Alchua always say, "Damn fine football team we gots, best money can buy". And the remaining question is, when will the Gators grow a pair and start playing UM? Next USF and UCF will be beating on your door. Sorry i had to make another add to the comment. I don't like Jimbo Fisher. There was a reason why Sabin didn't take him to the dolphins or Alabama. Because he is known for bad play calling on offense and time management. I'm worried about there future now.

Oh really? I was talking about the school and the board of directors. The man single handly built that school to where it is today. A lot of people chose to go to FSU because of it's football program. They should have done something more special to him. Instead of just kick him out. He was going to retire next year. he even said it himself. But no. The board of director's got greedy and wanted him out now.

Excuse me but I was a Bobby Bowden fan before you were a gleam in your fathers eye. BUTTTTTT it was time for him to retire. He was keeping the team down and was showing signs of Dementia. Proof is that FSU went from 39th to 9th in recruiting the week he retired. Also , business 101, you can have only one clear leader. At FSU we had two causing confusion and poor recruiting. The team will be back. Bobby did the right thing and I will miss him forever. I will have a tear in my eye during the game.

Playing for him would be like playing for your grandfather. You'd do anything not to make him mad at you. It's good to see in his old age he's put behind some past racist views and sees all his players as his kids.
