I think it's really cool that you are learning Korean. It's good to discover new languages and cultures. My advice to help ward off haters is to always do your best to accurately represent the culture. For example, when you said, "I'm sorry." you held your hands together. That hand position is actually Thai, but it's mistakenly used by people learning other Asian languages/ cultures they aren't familiar with. Maybe you know better by now, but I just wanted to share some advice. ^^ Keep learning~
