So what if she's Asian and can speak or sing well in French? Haven't you heard of French Indochina? Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam were parts of the French colonial empire. So, it's not surprising there are many French speakers with ancestries originating from those aforementioned countries. There are also many Asians that can speak English, and that's even not a native language to Asia. So what's the big deal if an Asian speaks a European language?
