People who are scared of guns are just uneducated. They dont realize that just because someone owns a gun doesnt mean they are gonna end up shooting up a school or someone. Gun owners usually are responsible people who use their firearms safely and responsibly. I live in alaska and i dont know anyone who doesnt own 5+ guns including myself. They all take gun ownership seriously and they dont dick around with them. I worked at a shooting range too and there never was an accident.

And they dont hafto give it to you..... the judge can be like.... "I dont like the color of this guys tie... DENIED" Of course they cant wright that because that would be arbitrary and capricous. They'll just find another excuse like. "One of your referances has a DUI" or "You saw a school counselor when you were 12". BTW these are real denial reasons I've gotten from friends and relatives my own denial was just as pathetic.... they said my heart valve disease was enough for a denial.

@trevortlevonski Whoah I think you got the wrong end of the stick bro. I'm a member of the NRA and the SAF I also own a butt ton of so called assault weapons. I'm a huge second amendment supporter. What I meant was... Technically its not written that owning a pistol is a privilage. However with our HORRIBLE discretionary permit system *which BTW you need a permit before you can even legally touch a pistol *sick* It is a privilage when you hafto seek the approval of a judge to get one.

@EverHurt No offense buddy but what do you not understand about " The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"? Unless every 18+ year old citizen in New York is a felon then anything in New York's statutes indicating ownership of a gun as a privilege would in fact be unconstitutional and the idiots who framed said statute(s) are corrupt.
