It was a day like any other. I sat in the kitchen with my beautiful wife Courtney, and flipped through the newspaper. The sun bounced through the windows, making Courtneys eyes look like tiny diamonds. I stroked her cheek gently with my palm and kissed her softly. "You're beautiful." I told her as she blushed a faint shade of pink. "I love you." She whispered. I smiled and continued reading the paper, quickly flipping through the sports section. Suddenly there was a knock at the front door, and I slowly made my way to answer it. Standing at the door was my best friend, David. Wed been best friends since the seventh grade, and still remained just as close 20 years later. I smiled and he held out an envelope addressed to Nick Jonas. Thats me. Nick "Jerry" Jonas. People have been calling me Jerry since high school. It was a nickname I developed while playing on the high school football team. See the captain of the team was a guy named Joe Davis. He was a senior, and I was a sophomore. He had everything I wanted, and he made sure I was aware of it. He had money, a fast car and a hot- no scratch that.. he had a BEAUTIFUL girlfriend. Her name was Miley.. and she was the girl next door. Literally.

FLASHBACK:
1992
SOPHOMORE YEAR
It was a shitty day. The sun was invisible. Clouds covered the sky and the temperature was less than zero. But here I was, riding around the block on my skateboard. My cheeks were painted red from the cold winds, but I didn't care. "Hey! Youre gonna catch a cold if you stay out here any longer!" The sweetest voice called. I jumped off the board, and landed on my butt. "Geeze Miley! You nearly gave me a heart attack." I said. She giggled and ran down to the street, helping me stand up. "Sorry! I just saw you from my bedroom and I..." She began, but I interrupted. "You were spying on me? Come on Mi, I know I'm attractive but you dont need to be such a creep." I teased. She smacked my arm playfully and I laughed. "I was not spying! I was just.. uh, concerned!" She said, her body shivering. "Yeah whatever. But Mi, its gotta be minus five out here. Go inside! Youre already starting to shake." She shook her head, her beautiful locks of brown hair swaying as she moved. "I'm not going inside until you do!" She said firmly. "Youre so stubborn. Fine, well at least take my coat." I offered. She slipped on my jacket and walked beside me as I rode my skateboard. I looked over at her. She was wearing no makeup, but it didnt matter. She was still the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen.
END OF FLASHBACK

I took the envelope from David and we walked into the den. "Whats this?" I asked, staring at the envelope in my hands. "Its a letter." He said. "I already knew that. I meant what is the letter about?" I replied. "I have no idea." David said, "But its from Miley Cyrus." I looked at him in disbelief, and then took a quick glance into the kitchen. Courtney still sat in the same spot, reading and sipping on some coffee. "Miley?" I repeated. "Yeah, Miley.. as in the-love-of-your-life Miley Cyrus." He said, with a wink. My jaw dropped as I opened the envelope and slowly began to read..

Long time no see! So I decided to start this story even though Comfortable isn't over yet. Don't worry, I should have the next Comfortable out soon. This story is just for fun, but I think it has a cool plot. I also have another story coming out soon. So get ready, this are getting fun around here! AND I THINK IM STARTING A SERIES. Crazy.
