FRONTAL OFFSET TEST

OVERALL EVALUATION: Good
Structure/safety cage Injury measures Restraints/dummy kinematics

Good Good Good Good Good Good

Important: Frontal crash test ratings can be compared only among vehicles of similar weight.
Test details:

The BMW 5 series was redesigned for the 1997 model year.

Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. After the dummy moved forward into the airbag, it rebounded into the seat without its head coming close to any stiff structure that could cause injury.

Injury measures — Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.

  • This is NOT shit , and if the bak bumper flu of at least you are still alive but you can't say that about your Russian cars .....

  • А потом их ремонтируют и продают нам!!

  • гавно, даже задний бампер отлетел

  • @tmmullenhevey the force between two cars traveling at the same speed with the same mass and general construction that hit head on would have the same force applied to them as if they hit a concrete wall. in a head on crash between two of the same car it is not cumulative, if anything it has a canceling effect because the inertia of both moving vehicles have an equal force on each other.

  • @killswitchengage888 uh, who cares, it's still the same car

  • BMW For Life!
