Jeremy Stands Up to NHS Mafia

Jeremy's partner was rushed to a local hospital for an emergency operation. When Jeremy found out he drove over and parked in the hospital car park, but he didn't have the right change for the parking meter. He assumed the hospital would understand and he'd be able to sort it out later. He assumed wrong.

The hospital passed the 'debt' over to a mafia style collection company who added over £200 to the parking bill.

A little update for everyone.

As a result of fighting this offensive car parking penalty through the courts I have just won my case as they have dropped the whole case effectively giving me victory without paying a penny.

As a result of fighting not only have I not paid £218 but I have picked up a lot of energy and luck as you always do when you fight for what is right. I urge you all to fight any injustice that is done to you rather than paying up!!!!!!

Should I have sent the bill for the new fence to the local constabulary?

On several occasions I phoned the police asking them to come and witness the boys in action (the Police Staion was just five minutes from my home)... they declined and threatened to prosecute me for repeatedly bothering them with this issue! I finally resolved the matter by firing pellets around them using my sons air rifle... I was out of sight in an attic bedroom. At first they decided to stay put...but then their fear of being hit got the better of them and they left and never came back! ;-)

A few years ago some teenage boys decided to systematically destroy the fence along the side of my garden, even when I was at home to witness it. I challenged them. Later they broke a wiper blade on my car. On on occasion they beagn rocking my wifes car. I saw red and in a burst of speed ran out of my house and whilst running knocked a lad flying across the road. He threatened, as he had done on previous occasions to report me to the police.

Failure in getting the result we wanted should not put us off trying. Failure to achieve the impossible, or almost impossible is not a personal failure, so why judge judge ourselves as human beings in this way? Lets stop rating ourselves illogically and get on and do stuff such as you are doing here. If we all did this it would have an efffect...and we might clog up the phone lines too. We keep being told..'You are the weakest link...goodbye!'...

Well done Jeremy for putting up a fight, Mafia techniques are everywhere. People Usually dont complain as the process makes them feel powerless and inadequate and ultimately lowers self-worth/esteem. In ignorance people rate their worth on their effectivemness, and in fear of this generally they pay-up and stut-up. The world of the EU is rife with almost unimaginable corruption. All of us, without fear, should make a fuss when appropriate. There is a limit to what we can achieve, but so what?
