Sami and Lucas tried to hurt each other several times. You know that someone isn't really going to come back from the dead, but saying that rape is just another obstacle in a relationship is wrong. Luke and Laura never really came back from the rape. Genie wants to come back, but the writers don't want her back with Luke because of controversy over the rape. You are entiled to your opinion, I just will never understand what people see in Sami and EJ.

That is actually not what she said at all. She told EJ that she forgave him for the rape and that she didn't want him to bring it up anymore. It is great that she forgave him for the rape, and it was rape, but I think that the writers putting them together romantically sends the wrong message.
