Single greatest leader a Soldier could ask for! SGT Sweeny was my very first NCO after I joined the Army. C company 1/9 Cav. 1999-2000. Not a week goes by after nearly 11+ years that I don't think of him and pray for his family. Without him, I would have never amounted to anything in the Army, and would be less of a man as well without his example.

I am always wondering what can I do, to show him that he did well with me. I recently was inducted into the Audie Murphy club, he was the center of my speech! I will always conduct myself to bring honor to his legecy, in both speech, action, and leadership..Thank you Paul, and God be with you and your family! SSG Jones

I was a part of a Marine team attached with teams from 3rd Group and remember Paul and that ambush. He will be missed and never forgotten. Rest in peace brother.

First of all I'm sorry for your lost. I never have been in the military, but as a firefighter, the brotherhood that we have is a strong one, and when one brother dies, a part of us die with him. Sadly to say, I had a brother in the military who died in 2002. I have posted him on youtube to show how pround I am of him, like you have done. Keep strong and know he is a part of you and your kids. God bless.
