RAF Sea King (from Lossiemouth I would have thought) landing by the Kings House Hotel, Glen Coe.
After shutting down for over an hour it took off and flew up close to the summit and face of Stob Dearg, presumably as part of a rescue operation.

  • Rescue 137 uses the hotel for refreshments when on weekend training sorties/playing. However, if this was shot mid week it'll have been a 'job', as they need to stick close to Lossie for fast jet ejections. They know all the good haunts for lunch and cakes (within easy reach of a landing site) in the North of Scotland!

  • Ah, that explains it then. Yeah it was a weekend - glad they weren't on a real shout for some injured climber :) Thanks for that

  • Wow, impressive video! What amazing scenery :)

  • Thanks mate, you're too kind ;)
