It is terrible that this is getting mixed ratings, probably because some think it is your usual YouTube cheap-shot. I am assuming this is the original ad ran in 1990 on public television in Texas when Clayton Williams was running against Ann Richards. THIS is political and broadcast history.
This actually is very funny. Clayton Williams really was the Republican from hell (I'm a lifelong republican... promise). Clayton joked about rape, refused to shake Ann Richards' hand, and generally acted like an idiot. Most republicans just aren't like that.
This add was influential and hilarious to those who remember this asshole. I didn't like Ann Richards one bit, but she sure as hell was a better Texan than that Williams jackass, and I'm proud to have voted for her... once.
This is the Aggie who ran for governor in '90. He became infamous for comparing weather to rape by saying, "as long as it's inevitable, you might as well lie back and enjoy it." Well, I guess there are worse options than Perry after all...
This is a parody of Clayton Williams who ran for Tx governor (in 1990 I think). Ann Richards won in the end, only to get beaten by George W. Bush next time around.
I am not from Texas and too young to have seen this ad, but I love historical ads. This one looks like a classic. :) (Laughed my ass off too).

Wow, Republicans are evil. Who knew?
Seriously, get a life. It would be one thing to post political invective if it were actually funny, but this doesn't even come close.
