Onboard Focus RBR NewBobs with modified sound

I have turned the onboard sound almost upside down in the audio ini file from RBR.
That's because I love those transmissiondiff sounds so much and they are even useful as an extra indicator about the real driving speed and imo really helps to be consistent in keeping up the speed.

sweet audio.....its weird that noone ever gets the proper antilag sound, seems as if you push about 10% more but a pleasure to watch!

@541oregon Thanks, for me those sounds are music in my ears. Actually the pure four cylinder sound with the exhaust I find less interesting. That's why I prefer the Ford Focus onboard compared with the Citroën C4 WRC.

I hope we can hear next year more from the turbo and anti-lag with the new engine regulations (1.6L turbo instead of 2.0L turbo). I would also like to come back those delicious whining engine sounds of the GroupB area.

It's Manual but although you have to shortshift quite a lot on gravel and it is a turbo engine, I always can improve it of course.

hello gallardogt i was wondering what did u adjust in the audio.ini for the transmission sound..i been trying to find out but couldnt seem to find a solution..i know that stock RBR sound doesnt seem to have a trans sound or probably originally put to too low..so can u enlighten me how u did it? i would be very appreciated for ure kindness help

Yes it actually is nice sound. But still I rather choose "focusing on driving" instead of "trying to make the sound". But gotta ask you how did you get the "exhaust banging sound"? I mean like theres sounds of explosing in exhaust.

Focus has speed gearbox since Australia 2005..however the private Focuses does have speed
