We Democrats Will Take Over Any Business We Please, Part 2

I am tired of listening to how the "Government" is going to take over everything. WE the people are the Government, not the just the people in office. If WE keep giving away our Freedoms a little bit at a time, WE will wake up one day and realize that our Freedom is gone. The Federal Governments power should be restricted to keeping our Country protected. Anything else could be directed at a State and local level.

This is frightening stuff when people in America want to Socialize are country. Dear god, haven't there learned that socialist does not work? If the schools weren't run by the government they'd probable understand this. I can't understand why people believe in government competence when clear none exist.

Oh wait, they bankrupted Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, we spend more money on government education that any other country and we rank 17th in the world. Government intervention forced banks to lend money to people who couldn't afford houses, government sponsored entities (GSE's) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac collapsed because the government thought everyone should own a home. Yay! Lets let government control our healthcare and energy too!

It is amazing that people like this woman exist. Every time I have dealt with the government, it has not ended favorably. Try waiting in line at the DMV for something as simple as your driver's license. Go into your local IRS tax office and ask a question during tax season. How long does the average lawsuit take to begin and end? How long does it take for a bill in congress to be written and then passed? Visit a county funded hospital sometime. Government should not be distributing my petrol.

does she miss the u.s.s.r. & everyone standing in line waiting for every single item in every household? since we won't drill here the gov't will still have to buy most of our oil on the world market, which means that we'll have 2 seperate prices for gas, oil, asphalt, plastic, crayons, tires, etc. 1 price for u.s. oil based products, 1 for foreign oil based products. that'll be from the gas pumps to ANYTHING plastic in longs, taget, wal-mart, safeway, et. hope she has the money to pay extra
