Emily Remler plays 'Sweet Georgie Fame', live on a Public Access TV channel in Kansas City in 1989 with Kelly Roberti on bass and Brad Edwards on drums.
What a beautiful instrumental version of this tune, Emily is pure magic. I can't find sheet music for this well-hidden old Blossom Dearie chestnut anywhere so Emily must have just figured the whole thing out off some record by ear, adding all those wonderful chord melody touches to the melody. Great perfomance, thanks for posting.
@zebopper There's an excellent new guitar transcription of Emily's arrangement of 'Sweet Georgie Fame' very recently added at Emily's tribute site - AllThingsEmily. It's in standard notation and tab.
Emily plays this, one of my favorite tunes ever so wonderfully. What a great talent we were lucky to share the planet with for but a brief moment in time. You are missed.
