It is good that you are keeping the old knowledge alive. We are here today because our ancestors were successful hunters. I have used this particular trap mechanism to catch animals, and it works well. However I restricted access to the bait by pushing sticks into the ground and/or piling up rocks. I also would generally put the bait at the lower end of the bait stick. Best wishes to you and all the primitive technologists that visit your channel.

Supongo que para saber si de VERDAD funciona una trampa, habría que tratar de cazar algo y, al menos en España, eso está prohibido. Lo máximo que uno puede hacer es tratr de montarla para saber de su funcionamiento y especular si funcionaría o no en caso de tener que usarla en un caso extremo.
