I live in Milwaukee. Listening to Pat Foley is the reason I grew up a Hawks fan.

@scnemes Oh man what a rip off that was. I remember buying game 6 of that series just in case it was the last hockey game in the Stadium. I wish I had bought this one though.

@BLOCK19PRODUCTIONS No just a great pipe organ combined with the horn sounding like a fright train going down W. Madison ST. Man I miss those days.(Except having to listen to this game on WMAQ. since they weren't on tv back then.)

HAWKS WIN!!!!!! HAWKS WIN!!!!!!!! HAWKS WIN!!!!!!!!! God that calls so iconic and legendary. Foleys so fun to listen to and love hearing when he screams HAWKS WIN!!! HAWKS WIN!!!!! HAWKS WIN!!!!!! He made that call. Better than Doc and Edzo on NBC but im glad as a Chicago native and die-hard Hawk fan to have such a great and legendary announcer!

This call still gives me chills.... thank you Pat for all of those great calls during my childhood when I was huddled around the radio listening to the games on WBBM AM.

Big Sabres fan here and an even bigger fan of Rick Jeanneret, who has said that Pat Foley is one of his all-time favorite commentators in the history of the game. I think he's great, too. Not enough people like RJ and Foley anymore; guys who STICK TO THE ACTION and call the game with energy and passion.

We should be able to hear Pat Foley during the Conference Finals and the Stanley Cup Final. He is the best play by play announcer in the league, and we can't hear him after Round 2!

Yes they did play there again and they did lose the series. Mike Gartner was the last player ever to score a goal in the Stadium (he did this in Game 6 of this series). Roenick scored the last ever Blackhawks goal in the Stadium, which is the video.

Heard that as well! The Hawks fired Dan Kelly (tv play by play guy) yesterday.. and Foley's contract with the Wolves runs out after the playoffs. Thank God they fired Kelly, watching a game with him was like watching Golf.
