Sure wish there was a video from back when with Chapman on electric guitar and "Why Can't I Be Like Other Girls?" Wow, what a sensational work. Still got the albums, Marshall. Thanks so much. Am turning my daughter onto them.
I just read "They Came to Nashville" in three days. If I didn't get drunk and play on YouTube I could have read it straight through. It's gooood readin' and then some.
Whatever happened to her? While a certain Female strat-playing counterpart of hers named Bonnie Raitt went on to massive fame(Though it took close to 20 years of making records for Raitt to get there), Marshall Chapman seems to have fallen right back into obscurity and dropped off the face of the earth after 1984. And Didn't she, too, start making records in the 70's?
A great, great talent...

@Rockstaralan go to tallgirl.com to catch up on Marshall. She's got a record and a book coming out in October, and she's even in a movie
