BAJAJ AUTO UNVEILS RE-60, THEIR FIRST FOUR WHEELER VENTURE

CVB NEWS- India's second largest two wheeler manufacturers Bajaj Auto unveiled its low cost car- RE 60 on Tuesday. RE-60 is company's first foray in four wheeler segment. Rajiv Bajaj, MD of Bajaj Auto unveiled the first model to the media at a glittering event in New Delhi.
Launch of RE-60 is seen as company's response to world's cheapest car Nano, manufactured by another Indian automobile company Tata Motors.
The company revealed that they designed the car keeping the city congestion in view and that the car has high fuel efficiency ratios and low carbon di oxide emissions.
The company claims the low cost car would do well considering the popularity of auto rickshaw in India.
The company will also showcase the car in Delhi's Auto Expo that will kick start here from January 5th.

This looks too expensive for India .. probably will cost a lakh .. and repair costs even more.. better to get a three wheeler. Maybe if it was electric and cost Rs. 50,000 it would be worth it for Indians.
