to the question of is it accurate, its as accurate as the stock speed deviation with is a few %

doesnt really matter, doing even half of what any 600 is capable of on the street is nothing more than a pure suicide dream, it WILL kill you eventually.

any modern 600 takes you from 0 to suicide in a matter of seconds.

it can pull 170 with a 200 lb rider .. . its tops with no rider n wind is like 185.

people sit there and fiddle faddle over 2mph dif from 1 sport bike to another... it really aint such a deal. they are all very close, and all will break the speed limit in 1st gear! 6th gear will bring you a HUGE fine, or a HUGE grin, or both! haha

If you knew all the details you would know that this bike is completely stock. This is the top speed of the bike before you take into account bike weight, rider weight and wind resistance.

top speed on most 600's is round 160-165. and only way to truly measure is a laser trap in which they did with the new r6 and it hit 170mph top speed which set the record for 600's which the zx-6r used to hold at 168 mph. just letting the wheel spin is not accurate because u can change up there gearing and hit over 180 with free wheel spin. only true way to measure top speed is laser trap. time and distance. simple math
