villianas cops, how could you watch that video and comment about that. I dont even pay attention to the news and i know that everything in this video is true

Does anyone know what happened to the villainous cops who assaulted the woman in the car?

@athabascka But it is the humane alternative. Are you saying that we cannot trust in our own humanity? If that's the case, then I think the battle is already lost. But I don't believe it. If the society becomes whole again, then there will be harmony and there will be charity and good will. But the government does not want us to realize this, because it will also strip them of practically all of their power and influence over us.
-
@melbyRick: Corporations, banks, Wall Street, and Israel get the most welfare. The poor get the scraps. I'm sure there are negative effects regarding welfare for the poor, but poor people need to feed their families and they need a way out of poverty. Private charity cannot be relied upon as a reasonable alternative.

@athabascka Sure, I agree that the 14th amendment is a great amendment, and I also agree that the Constitution over all is a freedom endorsing document and a necessity to our liberty and integrity as a society and a nation. But we have to acknowledge that its provisions have not been followed, and its rule is not respected as it should be.
-
@athabascka Yeah, well I say that Marriage should not exist as a legal entity and the government should have no part of it. I also say that welfare is dehumanizing and dangerous to the community and the family. By it's very nature it conditions the public to have no sense of harmony in society, and to have no sense of civil duty to their neighbors and fellows. I think that marriage can only be a personal commitment and should have no vulnerability to the government.
-
@athabascka: If straight couples can get married and get tax breaks and "welfare", according to the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment to the Us Constitution, so should gay couples. There isn't any part of the Constitution that is "more important" than another. All we can do is advocate that the rights protected in the Constitution actually be protected. If they are abused, we have a right to advocate against their abuse. But appealing to extremism and fear is not the way.
-
@melbyRick: I do take seriously the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment. Having a bad economy certainly doesn't mean we have a tyrannical system. And as I said before, having a few government abuses does not mean we have a tyrannical system. Our system is actually less tyrannical than it was during World War II, when thousands of Japanese were taken as prisoners, or the Civil War when hundreds of thousands of Americans were killed by the federal governemnt.
-
@athabascka I think the 2nd amendment is more important. I think our property rights are more important, and Habeus Corpus is definitely more important right now. Honestly, could you have your priorities more fucked up right now? You're not even arguing for their individual rights; you're just trying to get them tax-breaks and welfare benefits that they don't deserve. I think we've got a lot more pressing issues at hand here.
-
@athabascka Okay, well now I KNOW that you are crazy... our country has lost most of its credit rating, we have major politicians trying to start wars with Pakistan and Iran, we have huge unemployment, an economy that's ready to collapse.... and in the midst of it all, you're still worried about gay rights. The one set of rights that are not threatened anyway. Yeah, sorry, but you are insane. I think that freedom of speech is more important. I think freedom from unlawful searches is important...
@skydome29 The woman in the car is a heroine!
