  • When SRC became Radio-Canada? And why?

  • @MrLppa I dont know - the answers may be on the CBC website if you care to check it out.

  • @MrLppa SRC is the acronym for the network's full name "Société Radio-Canads" They tried to put it in in 1992 but people in Québec just kept calling it "Radio-Canads" so the SRC went back to Radio-Canada a few years later.

  • @Golbez1991 Wouldn't it be Societe Radio-Canada? instead of Canads?

  • @Ecossaise This was an obvious typo. It is not Radio-Canads it is Radio-Canada. *sigh*

  • @Golbez1991 *Louder Sigh* If you were born in 1991 stop sighing! Might want to spell check before posting next time as well !

  • @PeterOnoLennon Maybe it gives homage to the color butterfly they used as their logo in the late60's to early 70's. :)

  • @videonut33 Exploding Circles - I love it - the sequel to 'Exploding Pizzas' from the 70s! :D

  • The first year of the CBC's current "Exploding Circles" logo.

  • @Dan1988A I think it is her voice actually :D
