Here is another recording of our German friend Nik at a live performance in my home town on July 5, 2009. He wrote "Cheyenne" when he was a 16 year old exchange student here and originally recorded it with my son Eric when they were in school together. Nice guitar you have there, Nik :o)

  • @Zsolto66 On behalf of Nik, I thank you, Zsolt! In a short time the frenzy and sometimes stress will be over for another year :) May you have a wonderful and merry Christmas and may the Christmas spirit remain with you throughout the new year. Thanks for being my YT friend.

    Bob

  • Hey Bob, you not only have nice guitars but nice friends, too :)

This is a very good post to rip me out of the pre-Christmas frenzy, thank you.

And an excellent opportunity to wish you and all those you love a very Merry Christmas.

    All the best to you,

    Zsolt

  • @rhopen This was performed in the bandshell portion of our city park over the Independence Day celebration in 2009. The music coincided with the annual art fair in the park. I was asked play that day for 1 or 2 hours so I invited Nik to play for the first hour. Nik came from Germany to be a groomsman in my son's wedding just 2 weeks prior to this in June. I was very glad to loan my guitar to him :) Thanks Ron. ~Bob

  • @laurabrake1 Nik is a good musician and a fine person, Laura. He is now a school teacher in Germany but still plays with a band when he can.

A very merry Christmas to you and yours, Laura. ~Bob
