  • is the dried paper mache clay water-proof?

  • @grezure No, but it does hold up a lot better than paper strips and paste. It would need a plastic coating of some kind if you wanted it to stay outside.

  • how heavy is the clay when it dries? i guess it depends? :)

  • @MissInterpretCosplay Yes, it depends on how thickly you apply it. A 1/8" layer won't be any heavier than a similar layer of traditional paper strips and paste.

  • @alaynalime The eyes were painted on, after modeling them with the paper mache clay.
