Barack Obama on the "sacred trust" of caring for wounded vets

In June 2008, Barack Obama spoke of the "sacred trust" of "fully funding" care for America's wounded warriors. In March 2009, he's trying to gain revenue by pushing some of the costs onto third-party insurers who provided our warriors with coverage on the promise that America would pay for care related to service injuries and illnesses.

As long as we don't get nuked by China, or Russia for bankrupting the world economy, I think we will be okay. President Obama has a lot on his plate, and I expect any human to drop the ball once and a while. In fact, I bet he is the type of leader to listen to the people, and will not go forward with this policy.  We have a huge mess on our hands, but will be stronger if we put away differences, and work together with what we have deeply in common. We are all free Americans if we want to be.
