Daytona USA Emulated - Advanced 42'' 06 - Kazuki from Brazil

Daytona USA emulated on Model 2 Emulator.
Played by Kazuki.
No steering wheel used (buy me a one...).

Sometimes it's difficult to keep racing line, since every keystroke is a steering wheel jerk...
Speedometer is wrong. The car seems to draft invisibel cars even alone on the track. Speed gained and plus, extra checkpoint times! Even with a weak last checkpoint time (around 18'' 4X), can get 41'' 9X to 42'' 1X!
Sometimes, the car colides with invisible objects on the way. The color pallete is still incorrect. This should be fixed on the next Emulator 0.5 release. When the car is stopped, REVERSE will blink on the screen, as the camera surrounds the car. Those are the known bugs.

Calm down gentlemen... yes, I was using a keyboard so don't complain about the car's movements. Also this previous version of emulator had an speed bug, witch increases the speed allowing us to get very good timings. The main purpose of the video is not to show a record, but the game play. It's a pleasure to play Daytona at home.

If most people are facing problems finding the romset, I will upload it among with emulator soon. It's been a little while since I logged on my account here. A new Advanced video on arcade should be available soon. Just check my videos.

I use an Intel Pentium D 820 (2.8 ghz), 512 Kingston DDR2, Nvidia Geforce 6800XT 256 MB, Asus P5B Deluxe WIFI. The game runs fine with this specs. Had to play it windowed due to the screen recorder software. The emulator has two exe's. Gotta use the dual core version. Of course, there should be only the O.S running and nothing else like heavy anti viruses softwares and firewalls. Those will eat cpu power. The priority is the emulator itself.

If you press the keys right or left, keeping the keystrokes with precision like reading a music partiture with rythm.

example: | | | | | | | | (keyboard right, right, right, right)

Is the same as holding the wheel still at a position.

So I can select advanced course and try to keep the car still. Human beings have the incridible capacity of adaptation lol.

12'' 34 is due to constant draft, even alone on the track. A bug.
