BALLERINAS HAVE BEAUTIFUL STRENGTH!!!! LOL the movements that they do require focus and a lot of strength. flexibility is not aqquired in ballet

The students dressed in pink are: Ghislaine Fallou (left) and Clairemarie Osta (right).
- Fallou was quickly promoted to première danseuse after she entered the company, but unfortunately she developed anorexia and had to give up ballet. Nothing is know of her later career.
- Clairemarie Osta is currently étoile of the POB and is married to Nicolas Le Riche, also étoile. They have a daughter, Eve.

Elle vit sur Paris et n'a pas repris la danse suite à ses problèmes de santé. C'est une grande perte pour la Danse et l'Opéra, mais on ne peut que la remercier toujours pour les magnifiques moments qu'elle nous a donné. Je ne me lasserai jamais de la regarder danser comme ici.

And you don't realise how many dancers battle with anorexia. Of course you have to be thin to dance, but you still have to be healthy. Too skinny is unhealthy.

Many people don't get what ballet means,don't get what it requires and all that dancers need to sacrifice in order to have a career in dance. It is not just about having fun and dancing,it is painful,they took your childhood and transform you in an small adult and it requires and extreme amount of discipline.Is way harder than the majority of sports and it requires a certain physic that if you don't have it,its pointless to take dance lessons expecting to have a career as ballet dancer.

OMG, the two girls in pink leotard are soooo amazing!! The steps are so fast but they dance it like it is nothing .
