A very important note: This is not the Screw Cell design.
This is a Smack's based cell, however the plate size is somewhat larger. (no wall plates)
Hi, I have to ask to see your cell design. I'm having trouble getting good output from my cell. It's 11 plates from lowes, one pos and neg with 9 neutrals in between. ran it at 22v dc at 3.5 amps, and got 1/4 l per min. I thought I should get more than that! everyone I talk to says to have 2v dc between each plate with .25 watts per square inch of surface area! Can you help me out there?
Cheers

This one was a commercially built plate system. (basically a Smack's cell knock-off)
Center fed with 2 current paths. Each path had 3 or 4 active gaps (same as the later Smacks cells)
Getting any cell to perform is a careful balance of plate surface area, electrolyte concentration, careful management of current flow and heat management.

See the link to the PDF data file in the "More Info" section of this video.
I hit 4.6 MMW at 11.35 amps, and again at 18.40 amps.
