Vereen is part of a new initiative called, Start Taking Action Now for Diabetes (S.T.A.N.D.), that is utilizing the power of social marketing in programs and initiatives designed to start a "movement" among patients and their friends to "take a stand" and take control of their blood sugar levels NOW.
