There is no reason for veterans to be in need. Access to the system is all that is needed. For my husband and me, both of us vets, the system works very well and we're grateful to have it.

I shared this everywhere, and want the people waking up and not ignoring those served for their country.... it's time we give them back.

I do want to kill myself, but everytime i plan it, i chicken out because i don't want to leave that debt for my mom or dad...so that's the only thing thats stopping me....though i do find myself at times, walking into oncoming traffic....but whatever, who cares right? just another dead guy, life goes on...its kind of like, if a tree dies in a forest, does anyone hear it fall? ....I respect and am greateful for all the vets out there helping each other!! God Bless you all!!!

I'm about to be homeless in January 2011, due to financial reasons...i served from 2004 to 2008 Honorably in the US Navy(Hospital Corpsman) but i suffer from PTSD, and skitzophrenia. I am on 70% disability, but that's only 1200 dollars a month and i'm being forced to pay 1500 dollars a month for debt/bills from my emergency surgery on my appendix in march 2011, of which the VA refuses to pay because it wasn't in their facility, but a civilian one..but it was midnight and they weren't open!!

THANKS.
THINK PEOPLE!!
Its been awhile since my boots were in the sand. Everytime a warm breeze blows in my face, or a stench rises to my nostrils, a loud bang, a scream, its like I never left. The ones of us who go to places like these never really return, we are just empty shells. The thousand yard stares or the black outs are all people see on the outside, but they can never know the hell that rages on the inside of our once inocent souls. May God forgive us, and may he bless all who support us

@Afrikaaner11 we are talking about kids 17 to 25 whom have experienced more than a life time of living, who have worked hard for the responsibility with pressers beyond what any age or human should endure . Experience that would make the strongest of humans cry for his momma! ~continued ~
