The speech given by Blair Scott at the Rally for Reason "Speak Out" on the 27th of May 2007 at the Hilton Hotel in Florence, KY. The "Speak Out" was a akin to a pep rally for those attending the next day's Rally for Reason.

It is tested by people who are not old enough to have started an experiment. Nor has it been set up millions of years ago by a scientist. If you know anything about darwin you will know that at the end of his life he announced that he made everything up. It was as real as fiction..

Christianity has stood for over 5,000 years. Evolution is a theory that is not even 100 years old. How can anyone assume evolution is fact?

@njs811271 No one assumes that evolution is a fact: it is tested, tested, tested, and tested again... and then tested some more.

Christianity is only about 2,000 years old, BTW. If you're going to use longevity as a means to prove something, there are religions that are older than Christianity that you should believe in.

Besides all this "testing." I can pick up a rock and say it's 1 million years old. You are right about christianity being only 2,000 years old. When I stated "Christianity" I was refering to the creationist theories. "God created this Earth 6,000 years ago." Evolution is just putting your faith in sweaty old men who spend all there lives taking rocks apart. Do you really want to belive them over God? Evolution is an assumption

@njs811271 I suggest that you actually do some research into evolutionary biology. Pick up a used collegiate biology book and read some. Or pick up Dawkins' "Greatest Story Ever Told," as he goes into detail, but in laymen terms, the works of evolution and the evidence for it.
