I think people nowadays are concerned with the artist's glamour more than with what they do. Justin Bieber is famous merely for he's white and young - targeting white people - the majority in America - and teenagers, who are the main consumers of media in the household. On Ross, his whole "bawze" image with the sunglasses and mustache got you tap dancing to his every syllable. I think in both cases it's a tragedy. It's so easy to become famous these days...
