@TLGPePpsi Because to "dub" means adding new sounds/ effects as the beat progresses and the "step" comes from the fact that most tracks in this genre are at 140 bpms. It's basically slowed down dnb and Skream was one of the artists to pioneer the sound. So you don't have to like it, but respecting the roots of dubstep will get you along further socially.

@bearhorse1 The drop is when the bass kicks in. Which in this tune would be at 0:27, then again at 2:44, and finally at 3:48.
If you can't hear it, you should invest in a better sub if you don't already have one. or get some headphones with good bass.
