Fernando Alonso crashes heavily in the wet at Fuji Speedway in 2007. This crash pretty much cost him the World Championship.

  • @1991ant1991 Traction control is not ASM aka active stability management aka electronic stability control. Traction control stops wheel spin, but doesnt assist sideways slides like ASM. Plus Alonso was basically in an aqua-plane. He did the best he could.

  • @Tkdkidforlife not like senna..

  • I remember this race. They should have just broken out the boats because it POURED the entire time.

  • Omg Alonso always crashes, omg omg im gonna create a bangwagon about the diego like all the dirty spanish people did about hamilton, omg im gonna pretend its not about race when really it is because spanish people are dirty racists, blah blah blah alonso forced piquet to crash, Suck it you little Hamilton Haters :D ill post this to every1 of his crashes :D x

  • Was ecstatic when I saw this.

  • what causes the spin? over-power?

he didn't turn the wheel to spin, only after the spin...

  • @1991ant1991 That Fuji 2007 race should have been red flagged regarding to the weather. Remember Tetsuya Ota. They were lucky no driver was hurt crashing in the F1 race...

  • how does this happen WITH traction control? And F1 never races in these conditions anymore :'(

  • I am an Alonso fan and I don't hate any other drivers on the track (besides from Vettel). The thing is every single F1 driver is a true champion. Being able to keep up the pace and pushing a Formula one car to it's limits around a track in the conditions they are in is extrordinary. Formula one is not like driving a normal car. They sit right at the bottom of the car, barely seeing over the top and being subjected to high g-forces looking at the confusing layout of their steering wheel.

  • Alonso and Hamilton are best racers on the track. Most people in F1 know and admit that. Fact! End of all your silly little school boy arguments. Have a nice day :)
