Make it with Fresh Canadian Mushrooms!

Fresh mushrooms are coupled with eggs and cheese for this easy, anytime meal. Serve with whole wheat toast for breakfast, or a crisp side salad for lunch or dinner.
No need to boil, poach or scramble; just bake eggs in the oven on a tasty mushroom sauté. If you dont have ramekins try using gratin dishes, ovenproof soup, dessert or cereal dishes, coffee mugs or custard cups.

  • 6 month ago I had the idea to bake eggs. They turned out fine (frying is faster) but the texture is great and it is the simplest way to cook eggs. I've been trying adding various vegetables and almost anything seems to work. I'll have to try the sautéed mushrooms!
