Bernie Ellis, effectionately called the Marijuana Martyr by the Nashville Scene, speaks before the Senate General Welfare Committee on the topic of Medical Marijuana.
Yes, Senator Finney, you took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the US. Yes, that means you need to uphold the laws of the US. What you ignored is the fact that you have to power to change those laws, and that is what the public is demanding. The FDA is imperfect. People die every year on the stuff they DO approve. He just hears what he wants to hear. Grats Senator. What goes around comes around.
If Marijuana has no medicinal value, than why did they make a synthetic version to use as medicine? To me, that alone proves them wrong. Clearly none of them have any first hand experience and are basing there opinions on biased slander the government has been feeding them for over 70 years.
While presented in a respectable and logical fashion, on behalf of those in need who deserve the best possible solutions a medical community is duty bound to uphold. Social misgivings and outdated Federal studies should not be allowed to impede medicinal science advancements, it is irresponsible to decline the medically needy of any relevant benefits we can afford them. The senate was deeply disappointing to observe in their interpretation of representation for the people.
FUCK THE GOVERMENT!!!!!!
