i bought a treadmill off ebay imported from china,the motor just packed up after no more than 50 miles on it.i guess you get what you pay for.damn

no offense but 2.5 HP!!! thats almost 2 KW!!!!! i've made my own treamill with a 12 volt 10 amp motor before pretty good, but no speed setting(couldnt be botherd)

people with good morals have to do to clear their consience.The goverment allows all business to rip people off like this. I have first hand experience myself with state attourney general consumer affairs office. I am very convinced they are drawing welfare checks for doing nothing. The BBB always rules in the business's favor and federal and state politicians havent a care or replies. corporation , business work in hand with the fed and why we have had to spend trillion's on bail out's.sucks

This guy is quite right to point out possible pitfalls, i have seen some motors advertised on E BAY here and internationally, that are advertised 'for wind power' that would never produce JACK! power on any project e.g. many 2k-3k rpm high voltage motors, Amteks & some lower rpm can work many will not!.
